{"id":212,"date":"2021-10-22T07:59:47","date_gmt":"2021-10-22T07:59:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/verse-n.com\/?page_id=212"},"modified":"2021-11-03T06:34:46","modified_gmt":"2021-11-03T06:34:46","slug":"guideline","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/verse-n.com\/en\/guideline\/","title":{"rendered":"Guideline"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<ul class=\"list\">\n              <li class=\"list-child\">\n                <div class=\"list-title\">Introduction<\/div>\n                <div class=\"list-text\">\n                  <p class=\"text\">These guidelines are for those who intend to enjoy creating secondary works using VERSE\u207f&#8217; contents (hereinafter referred to as &#8220;the Contents&#8221;)<\/p>\n                  <p class=\"text\">VERSE\u207f is a VTuber project that travels through various stories, and we hope to weave stories together with our audience.<\/p>\n                  <p class=\"text\">This guideline is intended to help as many users as possible to enjoy secondary creation activities with a peace of mind.<\/p>\n                  <p class=\"text\">Please read and agree to the followings and enjoy your derivative works.<\/p>\n                  <p class=\"text\">VERSE\u207f is jointly operated by Sony Music Labels Inc. and Helixes Inc. (hereinafter referred to as &#8220;our company&#8221;).<\/p>\n                <\/div>\n              <\/li>\n              <li class=\"list-child\">\n                <div class=\"list-title\">Eligible Users<\/div>\n                <div class=\"list-text\">\n                  <p class=\"text\">Individuals and unincorporated organizations.<br>\n                  <span class=\"text-indent\">If you are a corporation, please contact us through the <a href=\"\/en\/contact\">Contact Us page<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n                  <p class=\"text\">Original authors of the Contents who have transferred the copyright of the Contents to the Company are also subject to these Guidelines.<\/p>\n                <\/div>\n              <\/li>\n              <li class=\"list-child\">\n                <div class=\"list-title\">Eligible Content<\/div>\n                <div class=\"list-text\">\n                  <p class=\"text\">Official characters for which VERSE\u207f has exclusive copyright and trademark rights, and accompanying content such as still images, novels, cartoons, and music.<br>\n                  <span class=\"text-indent\">Except as otherwise specified for each content.<\/span><\/p>\n                  <p class=\"text\">Content that can be enjoyed with purchase, such as members-only content on YouTube and content for paying members on FANBOX, are not eligible.<\/p>\n                  <p><\/p>\n                <\/div>\n              <\/li>\n              <li class=\"list-child\">\n                <div class=\"list-title\">Definition of Derivative Works<\/div>\n                <div class=\"list-text\">\n                  <p class=\"text\">Secondary creation is defined as the act of creating a new work that is different from the Contents by using a unique viewpoint, interpretation, form, or expression not found in the Contents.<\/p>\n                  <p class=\"text\">The act of duplicating the Contents, or any act that can be interpreted as such, does not constitute a secondary creation.<\/p>\n                <\/div>\n              <\/li>\n              <li class=\"list-child\">\n                <div class=\"list-title\">Guidelines<\/div>\n                <div class=\"list-text\">\n                  <p class=\"text\">By releasing a derivative work of the Contents to a third party, you agree to be bound by the Guidelines.<\/p>\n\n                  <p class=\"text\">The subject agrees to allow VERSE\u207f officials and others involved in the project to use the secondary works of the Contents worldwide without charge and without any restrictions.<br>\n                  <span class=\"text-indent\">VERSE\u207f will separately contact the subject of any official commercialization of secondary works using the Content.<\/span><\/p>\n                  <p class=\"text\">If you wish to publish any derivative works of the Contents, including contents for which VERSE\u207f does not own the rights, you are responsible for clearing the rights to the third party.<\/p>\n\n                  <p class=\"text\">Secondary works of the Contents that fall under the following items cannot be published<br>\n                    <span class=\"text-indent\">Offensive to public order and morals, and lacking in morals and decency.<\/span>\n                    <span class=\"text-indent\">Has the potential to be misidentified as official VERSE\u207f content.<\/span>\n                    <span class=\"text-indent\">Violates the rights of a third party.<\/span>\n                    <span class=\"text-indent\">Excessively depicts or references a particular ideology, belief, race, religion, or politics.<\/span>\n                    <span class=\"text-indent\">Is antisocial<\/span>\n                    <span class=\"text-indent\">Has the potential to hurt the feelings or thoughts of others<\/span>\n                  <\/p>\n\n                  <p class=\"text\">Monetization that falls into the following categories is not allowed.<br>\n                    <span class=\"text-indent\">Monetization that exceeds the scope of cost recovery.<\/span>\n                    <span class=\"text-indent\">Monetization by copying and using the Contents as they are.<\/span>\n                    <span class=\"text-indent\">Monetization by using the music of the Contents.<\/span>\n                  <\/p>\n\n                  <p class=\"text\">These guidelines are subject to change without notice.<\/p>\n                  <p class=\"text\">VERSE\u207f cannot be held responsible for any disputes or problems related to secondary works of the Contents.<\/p>\n                  <p class=\"text\">VERSE\u207f shall not be responsible for any disputes or problems relating to derivative works of the Content.
